Common questions.

I already have a trust or a will. Can I still use Veros?
Yes. We host your existing documents on the platform and administer them exactly as we would ones we drafted. We also run a free trust and will audit first, so you know whether what you have is set up correctly.
I have a will. Isn’t that enough?
No. A will still goes through probate, the public court process. A trust is what avoids probate. That said, a trust and will go hand in hand: the trust defines how your assets are distributed in the worst case, and a will assigns guardianship for your children.
We’re married with joint assets. How should we set it up?
Usually three documents: an individual trust for each of you, plus a joint trust for what you hold together. All three are included in one subscription, at no extra cost. We ask you to start with one, then we do the others once you are on the platform.
What if Veros goes away?
Your trust is a legal document that belongs to you, held with a licensed, regulated South Dakota trust company. It stands on its own and keeps working regardless of what happens to Veros as a company.
