How hard is it to set up a trust?

The old way was hard. The new way is not.

The old way looked like this. You call an estate attorney, wait a couple of weeks for an appointment, and sit through a few meetings billed at $300 to $500 an hour. A few weeks and several thousand dollars later, you have a stack of documents. Then you still have to fund the trust by moving your assets into it, a step many people never finish.

None of that is impossible. It is just slow, expensive, and confusing enough that most people put it off for years. The procrastination is the real problem, because a trust that never gets set up does nothing at all.

The new way is what we built Veros to do. Setting up your trust should feel closer to filing your taxes online than hiring a law firm: guided, clear, and done in an afternoon. When something genuinely needs a human expert, one is available without a billable hourly meeting.

It is faster, simpler, and less expensive, because the technology handles the routine work and the experts focus on the parts that actually need them. The goal is not only to lower the cost. It is to make this something you will actually finish, so the protection is real rather than theoretical.
